Harper and I made this little treat from my Mom to take to our neighbors. We've lived in our home for 2 years and besides one, we really don't know our neighbors very well! It seems like our street has hit a sort of baby boom...so I'm hoping this summer will be fun with lots of little ones to play with! :)
White Chocolate Party Mix
What you need:
1 pkg mini pretzels
5 C cherrios
5 C corn chex
2 C salted peanuts
1 pkg M&M's
2 pkgs vanilla chips
3 tbsp vegetable oil
How to make:
In a large bowl, combine first 5 ingredients and set aside. In microwave safe bowl, heat chips and oil on med-high for 2 minutes, stirring once. Microwave on high for 10 sec., and stir until smooth. Pour over cereal mixture and mix well. Spread over three waxed paper lined baking sheets. Let cool and break apart. Store in an airtight container.
We put some in little santa face baggies and tied a To/From with our name and our house number on them. Harper and I plan to deliver them today since it's so stinking nice out! Yay for getting to take a walk in December! :) Hubby and hubby's co-worker got their own tupperware dish of treats as well. I put a little green cricut tree on his co-worker's bin and tied a ribbon. Viola, who doesn't like candy at their desk?!
